Randy was born in Lynwood California, a suburb of Los Angeles in 1954. He was active in team sports such as football, basketball & baseball throughout his entire life.
He became interested in the fire department at age 16, attended Mt San Antonio Junior Collage at 18. Upper division classes at Cal State Long Beach and The University of Phoenix in business management.
Since the young age of 7, Randy has been around boats and water skiing most of his life. As a young man of 14 years old he spent his summers living at Lake Havasu teaching water sports to guests at the lake. Trap shooting and the safe handling of weapons was also taught to everyone at a very young age. In Arizona this skill in handed down from generation to generation as weapons are a natural part of life, much like the tools of a carpenter.
Randy was hired by Tustin Fire Department at age 20 and transferred to Huntington Beach Fire Department at age 22. He enjoyed 28 years with Huntington Beach serving on several committees including health and fitness. He was the Chief driving instructor for the Fire Department and POST certified EVOC driving instructor for the State of California. He retired in 2004 as a 12 year Captain with most of his time was spent on a truck company.
Licensed as a General Contractor since 1982 with projects ranging from custom homes to complete shopping centers in his building portfolio.
From 1984 to 1991 he owned and operated a racing shop for vintage cars as well as Formula Atlantic. Won a drivers championship in formula cars with SCCA in 1990.

When racing ended he started building custom Harley motorcycles as a hobby and still does today. While on the Fire Department Randy worked in television as an on camera personality for the local cable network. He also worked for the Speedvision Network as an on air host for motorcycle programming.
Spent twelve years touring, building and filming custom motorcycles with the Doobie Brothers rock band on many charity events.
Met my wife Sharon of ten years through my band relationship, who is the real brains behind ManCation Nation, have three great kids and two cool dogs. Life’s been pretty darn good!
